Waterfront Insurance Brokers is one of six new additions to Willis Networks
Six new members have joined Willis Networks, including the former Oval business Wilkinson Rodgers which has now been rebranded as Waterfront Insurance Brokers.
It is the second former Oval broker to complete a rebrand in the space of a week after Tett Hamilton renamed as AJP Insurance and joined The Broker Network.
Huddersfield based Waterfront was established in December 2009 and serves commercial manufacturing and property owners. The new venture’s principle, Steve Manning, has returned to the Willis Commercial Network (WCN) after buying back his business, previously known as Wilkinson Rogers, from Oval.
The other new members of the WCN – which represents brokers placing annual premiums of between £3m and £40m - are Belfast based Willis & Company (Insurance Brokers), and North West broker Mitchell Charlesworth Insurance Solutions. Willis Commercial Network now has 85 members.
Willis N² - representing smaller community brokers with up to £3m in annual premiums has added Croydon broker Absolute Insurance Brokers, Executive Benefit Consultancy in Glasgow and Manchester broker Wilsons Insurance Group to its 21-strong network. These latest additions bring the network’s combined membership to 106 firms.
Phil Scarrett, managing director of Willis Networks UK, said: "We are thrilled to have added these six fine firms to our network – a great start to our year. We hope this will set the pace for the rest of the year, as we move closer to our goal of attracting more than 100 members to each of these networks, respectively.
“Our network members enjoy the benefit of having access to Willis’ global resources and expertise, allowing them to meet any client need. We welcome our newest members and look forward to working with them as part of our network community.”
