Ex-Endsleigh boss to shake up Zurich distribution strategy

Zurich has named Mike Alcock, former managing director of Endsleigh Insurance, as its head of distribution development.

Alcock will work with the broker team to develop a distribution strategy in both commercial and personal lines business. He will take up the role on 1 May, subject to regulatory approval.

He said: “This role gives me the opportunity to bring my experience to an insurer that has maintained a long commitment to the broker market.”

David Smith, head of broker operations for western Europe, said: “Mike’s vast experience as a broker operating in a multi-channel environment will be of significant value as we develop our distribution strategy.”
