Commercial underwriting agency Evolution Underwriting has appointed Ian Allard as underwriting assistant.
Allard is Evolution's first insurance professional trainee, based in Maidstone.
Evolution chief executive Paul Upton said: “We have embarked on a strategy of growing our own people to deal with the challenges presented by the UK commercial market.
"That way we can ensure that the standards of professionalism on which we built our business can be maintained for the future."
