Martin Schultheiss, managing director of Uinsure, explains why his firm should win the Customer Champion of the Year - Broker prize at the 2022 Insurance Times Awards
Why did you want to enter the Customer Champion of the Year - Broker category?
We entered this category to raise awareness of our customer-centric strategy and also to celebrate the hard work of our team in going above and beyond to significantly improve customer outcomes.
We’ve enjoyed significant growth over the last few years that is largely down to how we’ve innovated to improve customer experiences. But we don’t want to stop here and are always evolving and improving our overall proposition, with the customer at the heart of everything that we do.
As part of our evolution, we implemented a Net Promoter Score at every customer touchpoint - this enables us to personalise the experience for everyone and focus on the adoption of technology to improve efficiencies.
This has enabled us to spend more time with our customers when needed and has resulted in continually amazing customer experiences.
What do you think makes your entry stand out or different from your competition?
Our entry demonstrates how we’ve galvanised our business around the customer and are using technology and data that is unique to us to improve every element of our offering.
What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
The customer is the reason why we exist and this award would be a great testament to the exceptional work undertaken by the team in developing a culture that is continually innovating to make each of their customers’ experiences as seamless and streamlined as possible.
