Seven firms are competing to win the MGA Initiative of the Year prize at this year’s Insurance Times Awards

Ahead of 2022’s Insurance Times Awards, scheduled to be held at the beautiful Grosvenor House Hotel this Thursday (8 December 2022), Insurance Times can reveal that seven firms have been shortlisted in the MGA Initiative of the Year category.

This category is designed to recognise the outstanding achievements of the MGA community - these firms represent 10% of premium income for the UKGI market. 

Judges are looking for MGAs that can demonstrate how they have excelled in delivering an outstanding initiative - entrants are required to show the benefits of their initiative for insurers looking to access niche markets, or to provide a better service to brokers thanks to a wider range of products.

The shortlisted finalists in this category are:

On the awards night itself, guests will be able to enjoy a champagne reception, delicious three course dinner and an afterparty in the Grosvenor House Hotel’s opulent Great Room.

Attendees will also be able to network throughout the evening with colleagues, peers, industry thought leaders and - of course - the Insurance Times team. The black tie event is set to be one to remember.
