The Eve Underwriting Development Programme is for everyone at Ageas UK - from new starters and insurance novices to our trusted professionals - although it was initially developed for our underwriting and pricing team.

The programme is designed to offer employees opportunities to broaden their skills and career options, giving talented colleagues a straightforward path to develop themselves and explore new areas.

We entered this category because we are passionate about investing in our people and providing the best training and employee development programmes - the Eve Underwriting Development Programme is one of the ways we have realised this.

What do you think makes your entry stand out or different from your competition?

We have focused on building top quartile skills and capabilities in our technical engine room, around underwriting and risk selection, pricing sophistication and fraud detection, supported by data science, analytics and machine learning.

All of these skills strengthen our ability to compete in our chosen markets, which helps us stand out.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

To win this award would mean everything to our teams, who dedicate their time and energy into building programmes to prepare our employees at Ageas for whatever the future holds.
