Online SME comparative quote facility iprism has substantially boosted its penetration into broker distribution via Europa’s network of 1,500 brokers.
The deal with iprism will further facilitate the predominantly personal lines Europa Group’s diversification into commercial insurance in addition to its personal lines portfolio.
The white label tie-up will also include Europa brand Motorcycle Direct.
For both the broker and public distribution offering users will click through to a Europa branded version of iprism that sits behind Europa’s website.
From January 2008 Europa brokers will gain access to quotes from more than 10 leading insurers for standard commercial risks in less than two minutes.
Europa CEO Scott Salter said: “Having looked at various IT solutions iprism is profoundly ahead of anything else. This technology can offer the majority of the market in one place and is therefore the very thing a lot of people have been waiting a long time for.
“We anticipate our direct broker relationships will increase from 1,500 to 2,000 by mid 2008 partly as a result of this.”
Iprism CEO Gary Burke said: “The deal with Europa signifies further rapid growth of iprism being the fifth strategic partnership to be announced in as many weeks. Europa is a young but well established business and we look forward to working with its first rate management team.”
