Travel insurer Europ Assistance has launched a tool designed to help international companies prepare for the outbreak of pandemics around the world.

Europ Assistance said the World Pandemic Monitor, developed in partnership with iJET, will help companies prepare and adapt employee travel plans and aid businesses in finding their way among the mass of available information of varying reliability in circulation.

Charles Walckenaer, managing director, UK & Ireland, Europ Assistance, said: “The World Pandemic Monitor offers a professional and objective source of real time information about potential pandemics, including avian flu."
