He will replace Gerard van Kaathoven, who is returning to the Netherlands in a new role as head of group projects.
Perinelli joined Euler Hermes in 1997, holding claims, risk underwriting, product management and commercial positions in Italy and France over 10 years.
Most recently he was the head of the insurer’s market management commercial and distribution (MMCD) team at World Agency.
Euler Hermes has also appointed two senior members to its market management commercial and distribution team.
