Apart from some scathing words for insurers – “I don’t understand what the f*** any of it’s about,” he declared – he told stories of his childhood, his years at the top of the music business and of course his work in Africa.
Reminiscing about the rock and roll lifestyle, he mentioned taking drugs backstage – before thanking Biba chief Eric Galbraith.
Is there something we should know, or had Galbraith simply been popping painkillers to ease the agony of his recently broken fingers?
