Range of household covers to be made available
Equity Red Star (ERS) has extended its portfolio of products available on Open GI systems.
Brokers will be able to access 'Resilets', a product designed to provide residential property owners with cover for professional and student lets or properties let to tenants on housing or disability benefits.
Further ERS household products, including Holiday Home and Unoccupied Properties cover, will also be available to brokers through Open GI.
The Resilets cover includes loss of rent up to 20 percent of the sum insured; contents insurance up to £5000 for carpets, curtains and white goods; malicious damage and accidental breakage of glass and sanitaryware.
Jane Coppard, ERS household underwriting manager, said: "Brokers will be able to quote online for a far wider range of property risks, saving time and improving service quality."
