Equity chooses Open GI as platform of choice for both personal and commercial lines
Equity Insurance Brokers (Equity) has appointed Open GI to supply personal and commercial lines systems across its entire branch network.
The contract follows Equity’s acquisition of Northern Ireland broker, Open + Direct Insurance Services Limited (Open + Direct), and brings the number of its staff on the Open GI system to more than 500.
Supporting Equity’s 76 branches, the system is provided via fully managed services from Open GI’s headquarters in Worcester.
Equity’s managing director, Nick Potts, commented: “Open GI is our platform of choice as it integrates with our other broking applications and provides access to a wide range of insurer products, ensuring we can offer our customers high quality service and competitive prices.”
