Specialist non-life actuary EMB, has joined forces with the Irish actuarial consultancy, Quantum.
The Dublin-based firm, to be renamed Quantum-EMB, will service the Irish insurance and reinsurance sectors.
Until now, EMB has served Ireland from its headquarters at Epsom, near London.
Quantum's Paul Duffy said: "We are delighted to be teaming up with an established international player at a time of growing opportunity in Ireland.
"The changing regulatory and business environment in Ireland has concentrated minds on the necessity to measure and control all types of risks in an organisation, and we feel that EMB's state-of-the-art actuarial and risk management software will put Quantum-EMB in pole position to exploit such opportunities."
