Ecclesiastical appoints regional directors

Ecclesiastical has appointed regional directors for two of its three new offices.

Paul Lee, previously executive manager for Fusion Insurance Services, is the Northern area regional director based at Ecclesiastical’s Manchester office.

Tina O’Reilly, previously a business and account relationship manager at insurer AIG, is the Central area regional director based at Ecclesiastical’s Birmingham office.

Both Lee and O'Reilly will be responsible for building and maintaining broker relationships and driving sales.

At the same time Tony Bloomer, previously manager of Ecclesiastical’s Birmingham office fills the newly-created role of Schemes & Affinity director. Bloomer will manage the sustained growth of the company’s schemes proposition and build Ecclesiastical’s position in affinity markets, both in commercial and personal lines.

Head of broker sales, Ian Wainwright, said: “Paul, Tina and Tony joining us in new roles is a great boost for our broker sales strategy. We’re now perfectly positioned to create an even bigger stir in the broker market. We have always been the true experts for charity, care, education, heritage and faith commercial business, but now we’re determined that everyone knows it.”

The insurer said that a regional director for its Southern region based at the Gloucester office will be appointed shortly.
