Domestic & General expects "good progress" from its warranty turnover, according to its chairman, Roy Constantine.

Speaking at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, Constantine said he expected its warranty turnover to rise.

He said: "Warranty turnover continues to show very good progress, growth in support services income is slower than expected and the claims ratio remains at the higher end of our predicted range.

The company also outlined forecasts for pet insurance marketing and administration intermediary, Pet Protect Limited.

Constantine added: "This is a small acquisition, where we will incur some short term transitional costs before benefits begin to flow through."
