Dan Saulter “delighted” as Davies Group’s growth leads to operational structure changes and senior promotions
Davies Group has made a series of promotions and realigned its structure into three divisions.
The three-way split of its operations consists of claims solutions, insurance services and customer solutions.
Mark Grocott has been promoted to customer solutions chief executive and will continue to act as chief digital officer.
The customer solutions business includes Cynergie and ServiceTick, and is responsible for customer experience, complaints management and regulatory solutions for the market.
Following years as chief commercial officer, Darren Coombes takes on the role of executive chairman in claims solutions.
In addition, motor claims boss Kath Mainon has been promoted to chief operating officer of claims solutions.
With Grocott and Mainon moving role, Gareth Bowers and Kim Alcock respectively become managing director of property claims and motor claims.
Dan Saulter, Davies Group chief executive commented: “I am thrilled to announce these senior promotions across our growing business. We have an amazing team of more than 1,250 people, committed to doing the very best for our insurance and highly regulated clients. I am delighted that we have once again been able to develop talent from within and create the opportunity for career progression. When set alongside our investment in innovation and digital transformation, we are well placed to continue to help our clients improve service, grow and win”.
In January, Davies announced that its insurance service operations would be led by new insurance services chief executive Stephen Crabb.
Davies Group’s acquisition spree made headlines last year. In December 2017, it won Newsmaker of the Year, as voted for by the industry, at the Insurance Times Awards.
