Tailored policies now available online
David Oliver Associates Insurance has launched an online portal for brokers selling individual personal accident and sickness policies.
The portal, which has been under construction for more than eight months, replaces the old proposal form system and is available through the company’s website.
Online facilities and project manager Jonathan Oliver said the new system would allow more flexibility for brokers and would reduce the time taken to obtain a quote.
“We needed to provide an online solution where brokers would be able to quote for individual personal accident and sickness enquiries on-the-spot with their clients, and also provide a multitude of variations where it would tailor the policy to the client’s needs,” he said. “It’s providing the broker with total flexibility and a slick process where, instead of a quote turning around in a matter of 24 hours, it’s now a matter of one or two minutes.”
