Managing director Hancock will oversee mid-market regions until a long-term replacement is found
RSA regions director for mid-market Dan Wilkinson has left the insurer after just over a year at the company.
He joined RSA in January 2013 from Willis where he had spent 16 years.
During his time at Willis he was promoted from managing director of the UK mid-corporate business to chief executive of Willis UK & Ireland.
RSA managing director Jon Hancock said: “Regretfully, Dan Wilkinson has decided to leave RSA. I’d like to thank Dan for his time at RSA and wish him all the very best for the future.
“While I seek a long-term replacement, I will oversee our mid-market regions and look forward to working closely with our brokers around the country to realise our ambition to be the best commercial insurer in the UK.”
This is the third senior person to have left the insurer in recent weeks.
The UK and Western Europe finance director Denise Cockrem is leaving the insurer to become the chief financial officer of electricity supplier Good Energy, while Giles Baxter has been appointed by Arthur J Gallagher to the newly created role of international chief information officer and left RSA at the end of December.
