County Insurance chief executive says investment will help with future acquisitions
Investment vehicle Minority Venture Partners Limited (MVP), have made a minority investment in broker County Insurance.
County Insurance chief executive Dave Clapp said the investment would support the broker in its future plans to grow though carefully selected broker acquisitions as well as organic growth.
The insurance broker said it had also made three acquisitions in the last two years, while the business had continued to grow by 15%, year on year, organically.
Clapp said: “With our new partner on board we are now repositioning our plans and within 10 years we believe we can build our business to reach £100m GWP.
“MVP allows us access to funding in order to continue the acquisition trail, as well as help with access to markets ensuring we have the best breed of policies available for our customers.”
MVP chief executive James McCaffrey said: “County Insurance is a highly successful insurance broker and I am looking forward to working with Dave, Alastair and their colleagues.
“In their 11 year history they have done a fantastic job of growing their business but without compromising quality customer service. We look forward to supporting them in delivering more of the same in the coming years.”
