Christopher Croft replaces Andy Brookes as head of the Market Reform Office.

Peter Harmer, chairman of the Market Reform Group (MRG), has announced that Christopher Croft will take over as head of the Market Reform Office at the turn of the year.

“I am very pleased that Chris is going to step up to this role," he said. "The Market Reform Office (MRO) plays a key role in supporting the MRG in its successful drive to modernise practices in the London market. The MRO leads communication on reform matters, ensuring that brokers, carriers and the myriad support firms in the London market know exactly what they need to do to progress reform”.

The current head of the Market Reform Office, Andy Brookes, will continue to work on market reform, supporting Aon UK chief executive Peter Harmer.

Stephen Riley, chair of the IUA, said: “Chris has done an excellent job supporting the MRG and leading the communications work over the past two years and we look forward to working with him in this wider role. On behalf of IUA I would like to thank Andy for the skill and perseverance he has shown in enabling MRG to focus on the successful delivery of its priorities in recent years.”

David Gittings, CEO of the LMA added “We are grateful to Andy for the work he has done over the past four years as Head of MRO to help make reform a reality. It is good that his experience and energy will continue to be applied in assisting Peter in his role as Chairman”.
