Combined entity will have new management structure
Crawford & Company UK is has fully integrating its casualty operation with sister company Specialist Liability Services (SLS). The new combined entity will be effective from 1st January 2008 under a new management structure.
Michael Woolston, previously managing director of SLS, becomes managing director of the new combined business.
John Buckle, previously operations head of Crawford’s Casualty operation, becomes national operations director. They will be joined by three other directors: Suzanne Kearney, Andrew Whiley and Ron Weatherby who together will comprise the senior management team.
SLS was established in 2000 to provide adjusting and claims handling service specifically dedicated to liability business. It has a strong presence in the Lloyd’s and London market and a client list that includes a number of blue chip corporations.
Crawford’s casualty business is a significant player in the complex liability claims arena, with a focus on Employer & Public Liability, Professional Indemnity work, Product Liability & Recall, Motor and Disease claims.
