The UK's largest independent network, Countrywide, is embarking on a new membership drive for 2007/8.
As the network's existing 750 members go through the membership renewal process, Countrywide is encouraging new brokers to sign up in order to benefit from the extensive range of facilities on offer.
John Dawson, head of Countrywide, said: “We have added numerous new facilities in 2006 and will continue to do so to help brokers increase their competitive advantage.
“A material change in our proposition – Partner Broker – will aid retention and generate new membership opportunities. Launched in late 2006 it has already secured in excess of £4m household GWP commitment from a select group of members and many more are expected to sign up as roll out continues.
“As we extend Partner Broker to other business classes, the priority being commercial non motor, Countrywide will be ideally placed to support any Open GI user looking to grow their business through market leading insurer deals and the experience of Countrywide staff.
“With Countrywide, unlike some other networks, brokers do not have to commit large volumes of GWP or use insurers that the network chooses to support. They simply pay a flat fee, whilst retaining complete independence. Brokers who renew for 2007/8 can be confident that they will have access to yet more advantaged commercial and personal products and services.”
