Software company Total Systems has signed a software licence and implementation services deal with Corinthian Insurance Management Services.

It said the deal was to support the administration of Corinthian's motor insurance business.

The contract, worth £2.6m, will see the introduction of Total Systems' fully integrated Ultima insurance product, said the company.

Ultima is aimed primarily at the high volume general insurance market and supports all lines of business including motor, household, travel and healthcare insurance, said the software company.

Total Systems said Ultima would be used in conjunction with the Business Configurator programme, which allows business users to quickly adapt system functionality to meet their own market demands as well as introduce new products.
