Evander Group snaps up division of HomeServe PLC
Privately-owned business consortium, Evander Group, has today agreed the acquisition of HomeServe Emergency Services (HES), a division of HomeServe PLC.
The Evander Group comprises former HES businesses Glass and Locks, Contents Services and Chem-Dry backed by equity partner Lloyds Development Capital LDC.
It will be led by Jonathan Simpson-Dent and former members of the HES management team Mark Taylor, Alan Horton and Simon Hancox, who aim to develop a strong, client and customer-focused, multi-service business.
Jonathan Simpson-Dent, Evander Group Chief Executive, explains the acquisition:

It will provide claims validation, disaster recovery, cleaning, glass repair and locksmith services to leading insurers, banks, retailers and large companies, as well as direct to the public. With a firm understanding of the business sector, equity group LDC will support the Evander management team in nurturing the multifaceted business, which will focus completely on its clients and their customers.
