Card protection provider will extend group’s added value financial services portfolio
The Collinson Group has acquired card protection provider CCS.
CCS was established in 1998 and offers a card protection product as well as having a range of other protection items in its portfolio.
Collinson Group chairman Colin Evans (pictured) said: “This acquisition is of strategic importance, perfectly complementing, but also enhancing, our group’s existing offering of insurance products and travel benefits, which are already used by a global set of financial services and corporate clients to build their loyalty programmes and drive incremental revenue.”
The products include Priority Pass, the world’s largest independent airport VIP lounge access programme.
He added: “The addition of card protection through CCS is a perfect fit, bringing an existing blue-chip client base and extending our multi-lingual capabilities for the support of protection products across the UK, mainland Europe and Asia Pacific.”
