Colemont Insurance Brokers has appointed Tim Liddiard as managing director of its aviation division.
David Tyler, previously managing director, has been appointed executive chairman of the division.
Liddard began his career at Fenchurch Group Brokers in 1984. He then worked at Heath Lambert and, until last month, JLT.
Surinder Beerh, chief executive of Colemont Insurance Brokers and of Colemont Global Group said: "Tim's experience will be a big boost for Colemont - particularly in Latin America, where we already have well established offices in Argentina, Brazil and Chile and plans to expand into Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela."
