CNA Insurance Company has launched a web-based excess liability product for the contracting industry in association with Biba.
CNA said the site, cnaexcess.co.uk, would provide Biba members with quick and easy access to affordable excess of policy liability insurance and enable members to quote and issue policies in real time.
The new product is aimed at small to medium sized contracting businesses with an annual turnover of up to £20m.
CNA director of distribution and development Alastair Blundell, said: “Our web-based approach to delivering products in partnership with Biba means that brokers can quote for business in a matter of minutes; and, once approved by their client, they can bind the policy online and issue the documentation via the website.”
Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith, said: “Feedback from our members indicates a strong demand for excess liability coverage, especially in the contracting industry.
“We are very impressed with the innovative solution CNA has designed in response to this demand which delivers real value to both our members and their customers.”
Cnaexcess.co.uk builds on an existing portfolio of Biba-endorsed, CNA web-based products, which comprises cnatravel.co.uk, cnacargo.co.uk and cnadirectors.co.uk, said the company.
