CNA Insurance Company said it has enhanced its online D&O liability product by introducing a live data feed system, enabling it to produce an online quote in real time.
On entry of the proposer's name, the feed automatically imports this information which is taken from figures found within the proposer's reports and accounts, significantly speeding up the quotation process, said CNA.
CNA said the product is available exclusively to Biba members, with which it was developed in conjunction with in June 2003.
"Since launching the system, we have registered more than 300 BIBA members,” said Alastair Blundell, director of distribution and development at CNA.
“This enhancement is a direct response to their feedback and the product offers the complete online solution for private company D&O insurance.”
Biba head of technical services Peter Staddon, said: “Awareness for the need for private companies to have D&O insurance as an integral part of their insurance programme is growing rapidly and we are very pleased that our members have access to a first class product which responds so completely and simply to this demand.”
