Clyde & Co hires two insurance lawyers from Mayer Brown

Global law firm Clyde & Co has today announced the hiring of two new insurance partners in London,

Mandip Sagoo and Angus Duncan join Clyde & Co from Mayer Brown, the global legal service provider.

Sarah Clover, partner Clyde & Co said: “Mandip and Angus both bring with them skills, experience and client bases which complement our existing professional and financial disputes practice very well. We look forward to them joining and further bolstering our practice in the UK and internationally.”

Sagoo has experience advising insurers in connection with some of their most significant and complex financial institutions, D&O, professional indemnity and warranty & indemnity claims.

Meanwhile, Duncan has experience acting for insurers in the financial lines markets. This includes advising on global exposures in respect of Madoff-related claims and on coverage in connection with various Eastern European bank exposures.
