Gordon Vater joins board
Claims People, the AIM quoted insurance claims facility provider, announces that Gordon Vater has been promoted to the Group’s main Board as an executive director with immediate effect.
Gordon, who joined the Group in 2000, will continue with his primary responsibilities for both the i-Team Consultancy (i-Team) and Claims People Recruitment (CPR) Divisions. i-Team provides broad based consultancy services, including implant claims management, cost control initiatives and training developed specifically to provide focused, expert solutions to claims related issues.
A Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Gordon has 17 years’ claims experience gained predominantly in the adjusting and claims management sector but also on consultancy secondments to major UK composite insurers including the delivery of strategic change initiatives on a national basis.
Commenting on the appointment, John French, Chairman of Claims People said: “Gordon’s promotion to the Board recognises the contribution he’s made to date to the development of the Group. His knowledge and experience within the industry as a whole reflects the Group’s confidence in the opportunities to further grow and develop these divisions.
