Budget Insurance Services has won accreditation from the CII for its Foundations of Insurance course.
This is the first time the CII has awarded such an accreditation for an accelerated learning programme.
The course, also known as Budget Detective School, is designed to take trainees through the basics of insurance in a three-day interactive format.
Budget associate director of learning and development Steve Hall said: "Our learning strategy has always been to support and encourage people to learn, rather than telling them."
CII training advisory service manager Tamsin Mills said: "This is the first time the CII has awarded an accreditation to a company for an accelerated learning course. It is in recognition of Budget's professional and innovative approach to training."
