Churchill Insurance is to create 200 new jobs for its branch operation in Ipswich.
Churchill operations director Peter Horton said: "Exceptional growth of the business has created the need for these job opportunities within Ipswich.
"The expansion of our workforce in Ipswich underlines our continued commitment to the area."
The insurer will be hiring senior and junior sales advisers, teleclaims operators and claims advisers at all levels. There will also be administrative and training positions.
Churchill has a national workforce of 6,000, with 550 employees based in Ipswich.
