The new look team was restructured after the £20.6bn merger with ACE
Recently acquired Chubb has announced a new raft of regional managers for the UK and Ireland, a week after introducing its new underwriting management team.
The hires are a collection of Chubb and ACE employees and will be responsible for performance and business growth in their regional areas.
The appointments are:
Ireland: Jim Duncan, former Ireland regional manager for ACE
Midlands and South (now including Maidstone branch): Andy Francis, former UK & Ireland commercial manager for legacy at Chubb
Northern: Ian Fox, former Northern regional manager at ACE
Scotland: Andy MacFarlane, former Scotland regional manager at ACE
All of the regional bosses will report in to Chubb chief operating officer Phil Sharpe who joined ACE in 2008 before moving to Chubb after the merger.
He said: “Local presence is an imperative part of our customer and service proposition.
“By combining resources from across our two former organisations, our four leaders will ensure that our underwriting capabilities are accessible across the UK and Ireland and that underwriting decisions will continue to be made locally.”
