Steve McGuinness becomes new head of motor
Chubb has appointed of Steve McGuinness as its new Personal Lines motor manager.
McGuinness joins Chubb from RBS Insurance where he was Head of Motor for the NIG brand. During his five years at RBS Insurance, Steve was also motor pricing manager for the Churchill brand.
Prior to this, McGuinness was motor underwriting manager at Direct Line for five years.
Steve has motor pricing, product, distribution and technical experience and will be responsible for developing Chubb’s motor strategy.
Chubb Personal Lines Manager for UK & Ireland, Simon Mobey, said: "This appointment reflects our continuing commitment to our motor offering and we are delighted that Steve is joining the Personal Lines division.
"We ended 2007 on a real high by winning the Insurance Times 'Motor Insurer of the Year' award, and beginning 2008 by strengthening our motor expertise even more.”
