Underwriting agency appoints new head of expanded division
Specialist lines underwriting agency CFC has appointed Tom Chaplin to head underwriting for its expanding recruitment division.
Chaplin joins after eight years at Dallas Kirkland (Professions) where he was an associate director. Previously, he worked for regional broker Bland Bankart.
Business Development Director, Graeme Newman said: “CFC has ambitious growth plans. We are looking to achieve this by entering specialist sectors where we can modernise and simplify traditional underwriting approaches.
"Like our other specialist sectors, recruitment requires a particular approach that is tailored to the nuances of the field and allows the professional to secure robust cover for the way they actually need to work. Tom is one of the best specialists in this field and with him on board we will be able to develop a new policy which does just that.”
Chaplin said: “I am thrilled to now be part of CFC. With the private recruitment industry growing enormously worldwide, we see a real opportunity to develop a market leading proposition.
" I am looking forward to the challenge of building on CFC's existing capability to build a brand new policy for the market and establish the team to support our ambitions in this new sector.”
