Acquisitive CCV has a "healthy pipeline", according to CEO
CCV has acquired Hemel Hempstead based Just Insurance Brokers, it's 10th and final acquisition of 2009.
As reported in this week's issue of Insurance Times, commercial broker Just Insurance has nine staff and gross written premiums of around £5m.
The deal has been agreed under CCV's full ownership scheme with CCV acquiring 100% of the business.
Current managing director James Brown will remain at the company to help manage key client relationships. Robert Simpson is taking over as managing director of Just Insurance after joining from CCV-owned Moffatt Saunders.
CCV chief executive Michael Rea said: “Despite the challenges that 2009 threw down, I am delighted that we have met them head on and continued with our planned series of acquisitions throughout the year. We have a very healthy pipeline for the New Year and I am confident that we are in the strongest possible shape to achieve our ambition of becoming one of the UK’s top ten brokers.”
