New managing director joins from Car Care Plan
Moscrops, the Lancashire based broker and part of CCV, has appointed Andrew Champion as managing director.
Champion’s appointment follows the retirement of the outgoing managing director Tim Chadwick who had been with the business for 40 years.
Graham Barr, chief operating officer of CCV said: “Moscrops is a well established family run broker with a long history that is fiercely protective of its heritage.
“I’m delighted to welcome Andrew to the company.”
Champion joins from Car Care Plan where he spent nine years, most recently as head of european sales. He also spent one year at Fusion as regional sales manager.
He said he wants to double the size of the business in the next three years to £10m GWP.
“I’m very excited to have taken up the role of managing director at Moscrops - there is a lot of potential for growth in the region.” he said.
“As part of CCV we can leverage their access to markets to give us national reach whilst maintaining excellent local service, but in addition we also have strong technical expertise in a number of specialist commercial sectors at Moscrops such as construction.
“We will look to grow our book of large commercial corporate business in the region and particularly in those areas where we have specialist expertise.”
He added: “We have ambitious targets that we will meet through both organic growth and acquisition.”
