Firm completed ten deals in 2009, and expects several more this year
CCV has snapped up Just Insurance Brokers and is in discussion with a number of other businesses over a potential sale.
Just Insurance Brokers Ltd, based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, has nine staff and a gross written premium of around £5m.
CCV chief executive Michael Rea commented: “There are a number of businesses that we are in advanced talks with, and it is about trying to get these deals over the line for the first half of 2010.”
Robert Simpson will leave CCV-owned Moffatt Saunders to take over as managing director of Just Insurance. Current managing director James Brown will remain at the company to help manage client relationships.
The deal was CCV’s tenth of 2009.
Rea also said that CCV had recruited around 20 account executives by the end of last year, with another 40 targeted for 2010.
He explained that the new appointments would help drive organic growth.
