Castle Cover has released a pet insurance product in conjunction with Thornside.
The start-up specialist insurer for the over 50s has developed a three-tiered solution offering customers Bronze, Silver and Gold pet insurance cover. Castle Cover is not limiting pet cover to 12 months.
Phil Messer, head of product development, said: “The 50+ age group tend to be a more discerning group and are more sympathetic to a pet's health. This a growing market and Castle Cover's pet insurance service is tailored to offer excellent benefits to pet owners over 50 years of age. We will be heavily marketing this service to ensure we win significant market share over the next 12 months."
