Cassidy Davis teams up with TV motor guru

Personal lines Lloyd’s insurer Cassidy Davis has teamed up with Quentin Willson to provide a used car warranty product.

The warranty, distributed through Lloyd’s Coverholders Warranty Wise Insurance Services, provides cover for all mechanical and electrical parts of any make or model of vehicle, including vans and luxury cars, with up to 120,000 miles on the clock.

Quentin Willson said: “Up until now, many warranties have not been worth the paper they’ve been written on. Motorists have been let down by small print and exclusions that in many cases make the cover worthless. The thinking behind this warranty product is very simple – to provide cover for every part on any vehicle with no ‘weasel words’ that allow claims to be rejected or claim payouts to be reduced.”
