Pinnacle Insurance's parent company, Cardif, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, is to launch in two new territories, the US and Russia.
Cardif has acquired US insurer Financial American Life Insurance (Famil), a company specialising in credit or insurance.
In Russia, Cardif is associated with the Russian Standard Bank and owns 25% of the equity in a new company, Russian Standard Insurance.
Cardif now has operations in 28 countries.
