Burley Group managing director Matthew Mawson said: “Although The Burley Group is a successful business, we wanted to strengthen our market position and protect our revenues.
“We were already working with COBRA London Markets (CLM) and were aware of COBRA Network. However, we took the time to evaluate all the various network offerings in the market and concluded that COBRA Network was the best fit for us. Importantly, they allow and in fact, encourage members to remain independent whilst providing us with improved business terms in a number of key markets.”
The Burley Group provides a range of commercial insurance with a traditional focus on haulage, coach operators, fleets and plant, where their ‘Plant Plus’ scheme offers a comprehensive engineering product designed specifically for plant owners and users.
On joining COBRA Network, The Burley Group has confirmed that they will prioritise placing their motor fleet account with the COBRA London Markets’ Fleet team, boosting the Fleet book of business by almost 27% in the first year.
