The 2010 Insurance Times Commercial Lines Broker Service Survey rankings in full
Chubb has topped the Insurance Times 2010 Commercial Insurance Broker Service Survey, the headline rankings of which can be viewed below.
The results, first published on insurancetimes.co.uk's subscriber only Research Zone, show that Hiscox and Arista, the other two insurers occupying the top three places remain unchanged from last year. But ACE is the insurer that this triumvirate need to watch following its dramatic10 place rise in the ranking table to 4th position.
This years’ survey received a significantly higher number of respondents compared to previous years. Nearly 700 brokers from firms of all sizes across the UK rated insurers on a range of performance measures. The survey has produced a rich seam of data providing an independent view of the service levels that brokers’ experience.
For the first time we are able to bring you greater insights from the data. By using specialised software we have been able to segment the data to show how brokers experience different levels of service from their insurer partners depending on their size and location.
Research editor, Carol Wheatcroft, said: "The results are fascinating. We can see for example that Aviva’s efforts to re-engage with mid market brokers are paying off. Not only did they give Aviva better ratings, but they also offered many favourable comments. Aviva was voted the most improved insurer in 2010.
"These and many more insights will be published in full shortly but in the meantime we are pleased to share with you this years headline total score ranking table."
