Broker2Broker has secured the contract to manage the run-off of Parker Barnard Havers' (PBH) retail package scheme.
The fledgling online wholesale broker was established in November 2006 by SME Insurance Services.
Jason Gandy managing director of B2Bi said: “This is a great opportunity to work with both past and present PBH brokers who will now benefit from access to the B2Bi portal which offers on-line quotations from a quality panel of insurance companies. The portal offers quotations in under two minutes with full documentation including EL certificates, statement of fact, key facts and policy wording (contract certainty) available to download.
He adds “There are no membership fees or minimum levels of business required, B2Bi has been designed by brokers for brokers that don't necessarily have a wide spread of agencies. Although we are finding brokers of all sizes are using the portal to transact business.”
Broker2bRoker is also planning to add another two insurers to its existing panel, which includes MMA, NU, RSA, Zurich and IGI.
