Lycetts, the UK's leading independent broker to the rural sector, has joined forces with two bloodstock specialists in a bid to increase its presence in the industry.
The broker has combined with Hydra House the holding company for Hamilton & Partners, Hamilton & Partners (Ireland), as well as Highflyer Bloodstock Agency.
The new holding company, Lycetts Holdings Limited, will be jointly owned by Lycetts' existing shareholders and certain members of the senior management of Hamilton & Partners.
Edward Nicholl, chairman and chief executive of Lycetts, said: “We are particularly pleased to be welcoming Charles Hamilton and his companies to the Lycetts' fold and to be acquiring such a formidable presence in the bloodstock industry.

Hamilton & Partners, which will in future trade as Lycetts Hamilton, is a provider of insurance services to the bloodstock industry worldwide and also provides related property and liability services for its clients.
