Andrew Mirfin and John Neill take up senior roles

Broker Network has appointed Andrew Mirfin as head of sales and John Neill as head of business development.

Both will report into Scott Bennett, Broker Network and Countrywide director of sales.

A Broker Network and Countrywide spokesman said the networks have seen high levels of new membership enquiries and that 12 members joined Broker Network and 7 joined Countrywide in 2011, covering a total of £40m GWP.

Broker Network and Countrywide managing director Nick Houghton said: “We have experienced an extraordinary start to the year, with 19 brokers joining us and an extremely healthy pipeline of early stage applications.

“Those 19 brokers who have joined us this year, plus those who have chosen to upgrade their memberships to the highest tiers, have done so because they have realised the importance of support beyond enhanced commissions which will allow them to grow their businesses despite the current and well-documented challenges.”
