Andrew Baddeley replaces interim Brit CFO Nigel Meyer
Brit has hired Andrew Baddeley as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
He will join Brit in the second quarter of 2013 from rival Lloyd’s insurer Atrium Underwriting, where he is currently group finance director.
Baddeley will replace interim CFO Nigel Meyer, who stepped in after the departure of previous permanent Brit CFO Scott Egan to join Towergate.
Before replacing Egan, Meyer was Brit’s deputy CFO.
Commenting on Baddeley’s appointment, Brit chief executive Mark Cloutier said: “Andrew is an excellent addition to the very strong executive team at Brit and I very much look forward to welcoming him to the group. He brings a wealth of hands-on finance experience and he will play an important role in the business going forward.”
Before joining Atrium in 2007 Baddeley held several roles at General Reinsurance Corporation including CFO UK and Ireland.
