Brit Insurance has expanded its cricket sponsorship to incorporate all English test match and one-day grounds.
The insurer has secured a four-year perimeter branding and tri-vision advertising package for Headingley, Edgbaston, Old Trafford, Trent Bridge and Chester-le-Street. This complements Brit's existing naming rights deal at the Oval.
Mark Jones, Brit's group marketing director; commented: “This new agreement will substantially increase Brit Insurance's brand awareness during the course of the domestic and international season.
“Over the past three years, our branding of the Brit Insurance Oval has generated substantial return on investment, principally through televised tests and one day international matches, and this new deal will extend that visibility throughout the course of the season.
“Brit Insurance has a substantial network of regional offices throughout the country and our test match ground partnership will provide a valuable platform for us to engage our business partners around the country.”
