Brit appoints head of investor relations

Brit Insurance has appointed Neil Manser as head of investor relations.

Manser joins Brit Insurance from Merrill Lynch, where he was an equity analyst covering the UK insurance sector. Prior to this, he worked at Fox-Pitt, Kelton, also as an insurance equity analyst. He began his career at Ernst and Young, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2000.

In his new role, Manserl will lead Brit Insurance’s investor relations function. In expanding the role of investor relations within the group, Manserl will develop and manage relationships with all of the group’s capital providers as well as take responsibility for in-house industry analysis and benchmarking.

He will work closely with the office of the chief executive and finance director, and will report to deputy group finance director, Paul Gildersleeves.
