RSA's George Maxwell is among those appointed to head UK sales division
Brit Insurance has made four recruitments, with George Maxwell appointed to the newly-created position of Head of Sales for its UK division.
Maxwell is joined by three new Business Development Managers; Kevin Coaker, Rob Faulkner and Mick Hunter. The team is completed by Simon England, who joined Brit Insurance from Chubb earlier this year.
Maxwell had previously spent over 30 years at Royal & SunAlliance (RSA). He said: “This is an exciting opportunity to grow Brit Insurance’s UK business and work with a talented team. Our business development managers have impeccable credentials in the UK regions and the team is perfectly placed to successfully develop our offering and relationships with our broking partners.”
Mick Hunter also joined from RSA, where he has spent five years as Key Account Manager.
Kevin Coaker, a former development manager and Rob Faulkner, a former senior business developer both joined from Allianz Commercial.
Simon Cooter, Distribution Director at Brit Insurance, said: “George is well known and well respected in the broker marketplace and his experience and contacts will be a major addition to our UK business. His immediate focus will be the development of our broker relationships on a national and regional basis. He will also be spearheading a number of strategic sales and distribution initiatives.”
